Synopsis
Inside the dungeon of the Rose Sanctuary, Sloy had already taken care of the last few guards. He found the key, unlocked his shackles, and as soon as his magic returned, a bolt of lightning shot out of the dungeon and vanished without a trace. Using a grappling hook, he quickly escaped the grounds of the Rose Sanctuary. By the time anyone noticed, it was already too late — and by then, Bai Li wasn’t even in the castle anymore.
“What the hell is this?” he muttered, opening a cabinet and finding a replica of Frostmoon. He didn’t expect Vivian to leave him something like this. “The craftsmanship’s a bit better than the last one… guess it’ll do.”
As for Bai Li himself — he was long gone. He knew Herta wasn’t going to make a move that easily, not right away. And he was confident that this judgment wouldn’t be wrong.
