Chapter 3 Me Blood Clan Prince Baili
Chapter 3: Me? Blood Clan Prince? Baili?
“Mmm, suffocating… Where am I?”
Baili opened his eyes to darkness all around. He seemed to be locked in an iron coffin.
He waved his hand, feeling he had recovered some magic power. Wasn’t he captured earlier? He clearly had…
But the urgent matter now was to leave this place quickly. His previous title was the Frost Moon Knight, so his natural magic was ice-attributed.
However, when he tried to concentrate his magic power, he found he could only gather a small portion. But this was enough to deal with these anti-magic chains.
As the magic circulated, the surrounding temperature dropped dramatically. Under extreme freezing, even iron-hard materials would become brittle.
A ice blade formed in his hand, and he began cutting through the iron coffin. Soon, he had sawed open a large hole.
“That should be enough. Is it too small? Whatever.”
He looked at the light ahead, slowly crawled into the hole he had just cut, and climbed out.
“Great, finally out… Wait, something’s not right. Where is this?”
Baili looked at the surrounding buildings, clearly not in the Empire’s style. The Gothic castle and nearby roses…
No, this was the Thorn Temple. He had been taken to Vivian’s castle.
And worse, because the hole was a bit small, his lower body was stuck and couldn’t get out.
Outside, there was finally some light. Baili struggled, pressing his hands hard against the coffin wall, trying to squeeze himself out.
But it was futile. Half his body was sprawled on the ground, looking completely helpless.
“Strange, why are my hands so fair and delicate? They seem much thinner. Is it an illusion?”
“Oh my, let me give you a hand!”
“Thank you so much. Wait, who are you?!”
Baili looked up to see Vivian with a mischievous smile. She lightly covered her mouth, unable to hide the amusement in her eyes.
“I knew it was you, you dead vampire, up to no good. I’ll…”
Baili activated his magic, freezing everything within a three-meter radius. The next second came the sound of ice shattering.
He slowly stood up, looking up at the white-haired little girl who was gloating. In his normal state, he could have frozen the entire castle.
“Strange, why do I have to look up at her?”
“Hehe, you’re so adorable now. I really want to hug you.” As she spoke, a mirror rose before Baili.
Baili looked at the person in the mirror and almost fainted on the spot.
The person in the mirror also had that sickly paleness, fluffy white hair with a standing cowlick, combined with his current puffed-cheeks angry expression. His height had shrunk by about a third, and his delicate little hands still had ice powder residue. When he froze his surroundings just now, he looked exactly like a little brother throwing a tantrum at his sister.
Fortunately for Baili, at least he hadn’t been turned into a girl. If that had happened, he wouldn’t have known how to go on living.
“You undead freak pretending to be young and cute, what exactly did you do to me?”
Baili frantically drew on his remaining magic power, wanting to release his extreme frost domain again to suppress Vivian.
But he just stood there for a long time, gesturing wildly without any reaction.
Vivian finally couldn’t hold back. She turned away and burst into laughter, only turning back after a while to look at the angry little fellow in front of her.
“Why are you so disobedient? I saved you, and you still owe me so much.”
“Don’t tell me I owe you a favor again?”
Baili formed an ice blade. His domain ultimately failed to manifest.
“Oh my, you’re using the blood clan royal bloodline power to attack me? Really?”
“What are you saying? Me? Blood clan? Like you?”
Baili felt like the sky was falling. He had become what he hated most.
“Yes, what’s wrong with that?”
Baili’s eyes dimmed. Living like this was simply a disgrace to the Temple’s name. The dignified Holy Temple Knight falling to become a blood clan prince—wasn’t this a complete loss of face?
He instinctively tried to use the Dance of the Burning Angel again, and unexpectedly, the Burning Angel’s holy fire began to burn. This fire, specially effective against the blood clan, burned on his body with pain increasing exponentially.
“Just let me burn to death. How could I possibly join you light-fearing existences?”
He tried to freeze himself to relieve the intense pain.
The Burning Angel’s holy fire burned, and Baili managed to form an incomplete extreme frost domain with this power.
The castle’s temperature plummeted, followed by an ensuing blizzard.
Vivian wasn’t too worried. She formed a magic array, and the entire snow domain immediately turned dark red.
How could Baili’s incomplete extreme frost domain be a match for Vivian’s blood domain? Under Vivian’s suppression, the Burning Angel’s holy fire also extinguished.
He flew backwards, but Vivian’s bats caught him before he could crash into the wall. Only the entire castle was covered with a layer of frost.
Vivian held the little prince who had fainted in her arms, the smile gone from her face.
“As expected, prejudice cannot be eliminated so quickly.”
Then, her figure disappeared into the darkness.
After an unknown period, Baili slowly opened his eyes. His hands were cuffed with anti-magic handcuffs.
A huge crystal chandelier hung from the domed ceiling, each crystal seemingly stained with blood, emitting a faint red light. At the dressing table, Vivian wore a thin nightgown, though her figure didn’t seem very impressive.
At least in Baili’s eyes, it was the A-cup size he looked down upon most…
“What do you want to do? Is all this necessary? Bad figure, bad temper, can you even get married?”
Baili muttered dissatisfied under his breath, but Vivian heard every word.
“What are you mumbling about? Let sister hear you clearly, okay?”
Then Baili loudly repeated those objective facts he had just said.
Vivian didn’t get angry but instead smiled. If anyone else had spoken to her like this, they would have been incinerated without a trace. But since it was Baili saying this, having just transformed, it was normal to be a bit temperamental.
But she still had to punish him a little. She had previously discovered through an inside source that when he was still the Frost Moon Knight, he really hated sweets.
“It’s okay, sister’s not angry. Have something to eat first.”
Vivian smiled, but Baili felt something was off. Who knew how this devious person would deal with him.
“Fine, fine, fine. Question: tell me honestly, how long did you prepare for this surprise attack? Why is your understanding of the fortress almost as good as mine?”
“Hehe, that’s a secret!”
“Then why are you doing this to me? It can’t just be to torture me, right? After all, giving such important bloodline to me, although I don’t know your purpose.”
“Come on, you were almost burned to death by the Burning Angel’s holy fire. All your magic power was drained, and your source was damaged. You were basically burned into a cripple.”
“Then how do I still have magic power now? And can still use those skills?”
Vivian poked his little cheek.
“Of course because I passed my blood clan bloodline to you. What else?”
“Then I’d rather be burned to death than deal with you.”
At this, Vivian put on a pretend aggrieved look.
“I’ve been so good to you, and you’re still not satisfied?”
Now Baili was completely confused. It was clearly Vivian torturing him, yet somehow she had become the victim.
“I heard you love sweets. I specially prepared cake for you!”
Hearing the word “cake,” Baili’s hair stood on end. He detested sweets above all else. Now this thousands-of-years-old undead was going to feed him this—wasn’t this trying to kill him?
“Hey, hey, who told you that? That’s not true at all!”
“Being picky about food isn’t a good habit, you know? Don’t worry, sister will feed you.”
Vivian smirked, took a spoon, scooped up a large piece of cake, and approached with ill intent…
“Stay away from me!!!”
