Chapter 30
Chapter 30: Who Are You Calling a Pervert? Who Are You Calling a Pervert!
Early the next morning, Philin got up early to make breakfast.
Dai seemed to have stayed up late last night and was still sleeping.
Philin drew a heart on the toast with ketchup and left a note for Dai.
[Miss Dai, today’s world has become more beautiful because of you]
Arriving at school, Philin saw a group of people gathered around the bulletin board at the classroom entrance, discussing something.
“This year’s school festival is actually being held together with Lanchel Academy!”
“Great, there are so many cute young ladies at Lanchel Academy!”
“Are you saying the girls at our academy aren’t cute?”
“Wow, they’re even inviting that super cute idol Tselvini to perform?!”
“Look, Lady Seraphina will also attend. The [Seraphina] luxury brand named after her is really hot and beautiful. She’s so talented.”
Hearing these two names, Philin unconsciously touched the back of his head.
“Will Lady Adelina come? I really want to see her.”
“Me too. If I could become Lady Adelina’s partner, ahhhhh!”
Adelina’s perfect appearance and gentle personality made her popular with both boys and girls at Saint Andrews Academy.
Philin scanned the announcement and roughly understood what was happening.
The academy advocated for commoners and nobles to become partners and participate in the joint school festival activities together.
But the requirement was to pass the joint examination.
Philin felt it would be difficult for him.
“Philin, Philin.”
Philin turned around and saw only a hand reaching out from around the corner, beckoning him.
“Eh, Teacher Sophia?!”
Sophia looked around, confirming no one was nearby, then patted Philin’s shoulder.
“Teacher has thought it through. I think you and Violet have potential.”
“Ah?”
Sister, which eye of yours sees that?
“You like Violet, don’t you? I see Violet’s attitude toward you is also unusual. You kid, you really know how to chase girls! Teacher misjudged you before.”
Sophia leaned close to Philin and whispered.
“The school formed study groups for this joint exam to help students support each other. Somehow, you and Violet got paired together. Isn’t that a coincidence?”
What?!
“Haha, what’s with that expression? Too surprised to speak? Being able to be paired alone with Violet—your luck is really good.”
Philin felt somewhat dazed.
These past few days he’d gained three beautiful girl tutors who took turns teaching him day and night.
In a sense, was he also lucky?
Though he knew saying this was a bit like humble bragging, having so many beautiful girls around him was really a bit much.
Fifth floor of the teaching building.
The afternoon sunlight gently filtered into the classroom, carrying a hint of drowsiness.
Wind chimes swayed gently by the window, making crisp sounds.
In the small classroom specially approved by Teacher Sophia, there were only Philin and Violet.
Violet, an excellent noble student, was tutoring the commoner poor student Philin.
“Let me explain it again.”
Violet’s pen rustled across the paper.
Though Violet’s expression was aloof, her tone was gentle.
She was the only beautiful girl teacher so far who hadn’t asked him with that strange expression, “Are you really from this world? You don’t know any of this stuff?”
It might also be because Adelina had already covered a lot of the basic knowledge with him.
An absurd thought suddenly popped into Philin’s mind.
Adelina was like an ex-girlfriend who had taught Philin everything she should, making things easier for Violet.
If Adelina knew about this thought, she’d probably die on the spot.
Contact with former clients was indeed troublesome—Philin really didn’t want to do this.
But he couldn’t afford any tutor, having spent all his money on debt repayment and his sister’s medical treatment.
Having an excellent student who got early admission to the royal capital district teach him for free—it would be ungrateful to be picky.
Besides, Teacher Sophia had practically dragged him here, not knowing where she got such strength.
While thinking about these things, Philin’s gaze unconsciously drifted to Violet.
Today she wore a light pink dress with her school uniform jacket neatly placed aside. The ribbon at her waist gently outlined her slender waistline, while the sleeves were slightly puffy, adding a girlish touch.
Violet wasn’t wearing stockings today. Under her skirt were legs that could be called works of art, wearing cream-colored sandals.
Her toes were painted with light pink nail polish, making her fair feet look like fresh peach bread from a bakery.
Her instep was slightly red from the sandal straps’ pressure, showing an endearing pink color.
Philin had to admit, Violet’s feet were very beautiful.
Those cute toes suddenly curled up and shyly drew back.
“Ph-Philin…” Violet’s voice trembled slightly, “Pervert…”
She noticed Philin’s gaze had been fixed on her feet for quite a while.
“Eh?!”
Philin looked up at Violet in panic, only to see her biting her lip with a hint of embarrassment in her eyes.
“Your feet are indeed beautiful, today’s nail polish is very cute.”
Damn it.
The general-to-specific compliment method!
Philin accidentally blurted out his professional lines.
Violet’s expression instantly froze, her gaze darting around frantically.
She instinctively hid her feet under her skirt, then seemed to think of something and slowly moved them back into Philin’s line of sight.
It might not have been Philin’s imagination—those feet seemed even more pink and tender.
“Ahem, sorry Violet, I’ve been studying too long and got a bit distracted.”
He had looked, so he looked—he wouldn’t say things like “I wasn’t looking” or “I don’t know” or “Who likes looking at that stuff?”
But at times like this, he needed to quickly change the subject.
“It’s getting late, shall we eat first?”
The aroma of food drifting from the classroom, mixed with the unique scent of summer grass and trees, made this noon particularly quiet.
Looking at the lunch box Philin took out of his bag, Violet’s eyes flickered.
“Philin…”
“Wow, Miss Violet, your lunch looks so delicious, definitely much better than mine. Mine is made with scraps and completely unsanitary.”
Spare me.
After taking money last time, Philin had deeply reflected on it when he got home.
If Violet did this every time, wouldn’t he essentially be cooking for her?
If Seraphiel knew his foolish daughter was spending a thousand crowns every day to buy an ordinary meal, he would definitely go ballistic.
Absolutely couldn’t take money.
Philin believed that except when faced with the power of money, his principles were still quite firm.
“I… I’ll show you…”
“What?”
Violet buried her head while stretching her legs outward and twirling her hair with her hand.
“Look at feet.”
?
??
Violet closed her eyes tightly, her face almost blending with the pink color.
Young lady, do you really think I’m some kind of lecher?
He didn’t notice that his hand had pushed his lunch box toward Violet.
In the end, big Philin defeated little Philin.
No trade.
Violet whimpered and somewhat disappointedly took out her super luxurious premium lunch box.
The third-tier heating seal she carried maintained the lunch box at a stable 45 degrees.
This was premium goods worth a hundred crowns each.
In comparison, Philin’s heating seal wasn’t so stable—two crowns each, often heating the lunch box until it deformed.
Looking at Violet’s lunch box, Philin once again lamented why his moral standards were so high.
He should have just swapped his lunch box with Violet’s earlier.
He could have looked at feet AND eaten a premium lunch box.
Perfect for eating!
Violet had no idea that Philin beside her was conducting a moral trial on himself.
Today’s tutoring session gave her another chance to spend time with Philin.
This made Violet feel at peace inside
