Chapter 41
Chapter 41: Do You Know How to Act Spoiled Too?
Feilin sat by the window in the classroom, elbow propped on the desk, palm supporting his chin, his gaze casually drifting outside.
He should have followed Violetti last night to see exactly what advice Sophia had given her.
Today Violetti was like she’d been possessed by a demon—completely transformed.
She’d actually said “Do you want to touch my feet?”—of course he’d firmly denied it.
Does she think I’m some kind of pervert?
Then again, her feet really were beautiful.
Sunlight streamed through the glass onto his profile, outlining his slightly lazy contours.
The clock tower’s spire gleamed metallic in the sunlight, with white doves swooping past, their wings stirring up someone’s youth once again.
“Did you hear? An absolutely adorable girl transferred to the neighboring class!”
“Woohoo! Really? I’m so tired of looking at the girls in our class…” That student chose silence to survive.
“I saw her this morning in Principal Sophia’s office. She really is super cute with such a small face.”
Beautiful girls.
Now whenever Feilin heard those words, he got a headache.
He opened the book on his desk, trying to seal himself in the world of study.
“According to the 【Sivius Empire Treaty】, the Sivius Empire can only have one city, which is Sayva. Sayva is currently the world’s largest city, with the central Royal District housing the imperial family and numerous academies.”
He didn’t notice the familiar figure from last night arriving at the school gate.
“You’re looking for Feilin?”
“Why is it him again!”
“Quick, slap me! Tell me this isn’t real!”
The commotion at the gate disrupted Feilin’s immersive studying.
Did these nobles have no manners? Didn’t they know not to make noise in classrooms?
Feilin looked up to see Bernice standing shyly at the school gate.
Today Bernice wore the school’s white uniform with the jacket tied around her waist, her shirt collar slightly open.
The black stockings under her skirt were particularly alluring, with black Martin boots on her feet.
Her black and red highlighted short hair was adorned with a cute strawberry hair clip.
This pure and seductive beauty lingered at the gate with that hesitant expression—the perfect embodiment of everyone’s fantasy of an eighteen-year-old girl.
“I’d like to find Senior Feilin. After last night, I still have some things I want to ask him about.”
The class exploded.
Violetti’s situation had already shocked these noble young masters and ladies.
But damn it, another beautiful girl was looking for Feilin?
And she said “after last night.”
What exactly did you two do last night?
“Feilin was with that beautiful girl last night.”
“Huh? Doesn’t he like Violetti? Doesn’t Violetti like him too?”
“Behind Violetti’s back having unclear relationships with cute underclassmen? What a scumbag.”
“Is it possible Feilin has mastered some hypnotic forbidden technique and hypnotized all the beautiful girls?”
“Did you hear? Feilin is an evil god so he can hypnotize all the women around him into becoming his slaves.”
Hey!
How is this getting weirder and weirder!
Feilin stood up. If he didn’t go out now, he’d become humanity’s enemy.
“Ah, Senior Feilin, sorry for coming to find you without permission. I just…” Bernice’s expression changed from joy at seeing Feilin to embarrassment.
“Just wanted to ask about last night.”
The two went to a corner.
“Nothing happened last night. Violetti wasn’t feeling well so she went home early.”
“I’m really sorry I left early last night.”
“It’s fine. Anything else?”
Feilin turned to leave, hoping this young lady wouldn’t keep pestering him.
“Senior Feilin, but I still feel bad about it. As compensation, let me treat you to a meal?”
Bernice once again showed off her physical advantages, bending over with her hands at her chest but blocking nothing, actually drawing more attention.
“No thanks. Being with me would cause you trouble.”
“How could it!”
Bernice naturally grabbed Feilin’s arm, bringing her face closer.
“I heard about Senior Feilin’s rumors this morning.” Bernice said softly. “But I don’t believe them at all. I believe senior isn’t that kind of person.”
You’d better believe them—those rumors are all true.
“Yesterday I felt it was so unfair that such a gentle senior would be disliked by everyone. I don’t care what they think at all. Come on, senior, let’s go eat?”
Bernice tugged at Feilin’s arm, swaying gently like a little girl asking for money to buy candy.
“Feilin, there you are.”
Violetti’s voice drifted slowly from behind. Feilin smelled gunpowder in the air.
But Violetti didn’t approach. She obediently stood behind the two, keeping her distance, though her gaze remained locked on Feilin.
“Good afternoon, Senior Violetti. Why are you standing so far away?” Bernice was puzzled.
Shouldn’t the script have Violetti rushing over to compete with her?
“I’m waiting in line.”
“Waiting in line? For what?”
“Waiting in line to talk to Feilin.”
Both Bernice and Feilin were stunned, not knowing what to say.
Did she really need to follow strange noble etiquette at a time like this?
“Senior Feilin, will you… will you come eat with me?”
Bernice felt unnatural being watched.
“No thanks, Bernice. I’m used to eating alone.”
Hearing this, Bernice’s eyes dimmed slightly, but she quickly recovered her initial smile.
“I understand. But Senior Feilin, I made too much food this morning and can’t finish it alone. Could you help me eat a portion?”
Without waiting for Feilin’s refusal, Bernice stuffed the lunch box into Feilin’s arms.
She skipped downstairs, turning back on the stairway to look at Feilin, who hadn’t had time to react.
“Senior, remember to return the lunch box to me~” She smiled sweetly and winked at Feilin.
Seeing Bernice leave, Violetti approached Feilin.
“Violetti, you need something too?”
Feilin couldn’t help but sigh. Being surrounded by beautiful girls was surprisingly exhausting.
“Feilin, eat.”
“Go eat by yourself.”
Violetti suddenly lowered her head, biting her lip with a bullied expression.
“You already touched my feet but want to be irresponsible…”
“I didn’t touch your feet! Don’t make things up!”
Feilin certainly hadn’t done such perverted things on the field—he’d clearly refused then.
He never expected that Violetti, who seemed so cold, could actually act spoiled like this.
Who said she wasn’t smart? She was incredibly clever.
“You want to be irresponsible…”
Violetti said it again, louder this time.
If this continued, the students gathered around eating melon would hear.
Then he really couldn’t clear his name.
“Fine! We’ll eat together, but just this once!”
Violetti successfully bounced on her toes, that cold expression breaking into a smile, her pink hair shining brilliantly in the sun.
