Chapter 50
Chapter 50: (Covering Eyes with Both Hands) I’m Not Looking!
Violette looked around but didn’t see Adelina or Bernice anywhere.
Great! Meeting Feilin here too, Violette thought.
Not great! Feilin thought.
Meeting a former client in front of a current client, especially the rapidly evolving Violette!
She wouldn’t cling to me, would she?
“Violette, are you here with family?”
If she was shopping with family, she definitely wouldn’t cling to him.
As for why not with friends – unfortunately, Violette had no friends.
Violette shook her head.
When Violette shook her head, Feilin saw the caterpillar plush she was hiding behind her back.
She actually came to buy that plush. Could it be…
I knew that plush wasn’t ugly – Violette likes it too.
“Feilin, you have two bottles of water.” Violette stared intently at the water bottles in Feilin’s hands.
Oh no.
Feilin looked at the bottle in each hand, forgetting to hide the water.
“Violette, this bottle is for you. I saw you from far away and thought to buy you water. But after buying it, I couldn’t find you.”
Feilin had a flash of inspiration and handed water to Violette.
Perfect, seamless!
At worst he’d buy another bottle later.
But he absolutely couldn’t let Violette know he was out with Daisy.
What Violette thought didn’t matter, but she might cling to him and be discovered by Daisy.
Having a current client see him entangled with a girl would definitely ruin his reputation in this business.
Violette accepted the water with both hands and thanked him.
Her gaze fell on the peach-flavored water he had given her.
She didn’t like peach flavor, and Feilin knew this.
So this water wasn’t bought for her – it was for someone else.
A girl?
Who could it be?
Adelina or Bernice?
It couldn’t possibly be someone else, right?
How annoying. Why were there so many girls around Feilin, all wanting to steal her Feilin?
Violette’s hand unconsciously reached into her pink unicorn bag, about to touch her magic seal again.
No, that would blow Feilin away too.
Violette stepped forward and tugged on Feilin’s sleeve.
“Feilin, I want to go shopping.”
“Mm-hmm, go ahead.”
“I want to go shopping with you.”
“Hm? I’m busy tonight, can’t accompany you.”
“Is it Bernice?”
“No!”
“I’ll let you touch my feet.” Violette looked up with closed eyes, as if making a great sacrifice.
“I won’t touch them!”
His past pursuit of Violette had been exactly this kind of persistent pestering. How had this young lady learned it all?
Violette pouted and said “oh.”
“If there’s nothing else, I’ll go first.”
Feilin didn’t want to waste time with Violette. Daisy was still waiting for him to return.
Feilin waved at Violette, but she seemed to be daydreaming with no response.
Only one thought occupied Violette’s mind.
He must be going to find another girl.
Can’t let him leave.
“Hey, Violette, what are you doing!”
Violette suddenly stepped forward and threw herself into Feilin’s arms.
Her arms tightly encircled Feilin’s waist, almost making him unable to breathe.
“Just for a moment…” she said with pouted lips.
Violette’s appearance already attracted attention, and such bold behavior drew even more notice from passersby.
Feilin tried several times but couldn’t push Violette away.
Who did this girl learn from! He hadn’t forcibly hugged her like this back then!
“I understand, just for a moment. Ten minutes, okay?”
He really had no way to deal with this girl.
Normally Violette helped him study so much – he couldn’t coldly tell her to get lost now.
He was still too young to know that all gifts from fate had prices marked in secret.
Hearing Feilin’s words, Violette immediately released him.
The girl’s face was almost the same color as her hair.
Feilin’s body smelled so good.
Only now did Violette realize what she had done. Her calves trembled with nervousness and embarrassment.
She hastily turned around, forgetting about the caterpillar plush hidden behind her.
“I’ll hold the caterpillar for you.”
The hair on Violette’s head stood up.
“Where should we go?”
“Right here.”
Violette randomly pointed to the store next to where Daisy was. She just wanted to be with Feilin – any store was fine.
Feilin blinked. If he wasn’t mistaken, this was a lingerie store?
“Violette, is it okay for me to enter this store with you?”
Violette thought Feilin was looking for an excuse to leave again.
“It’s fine.”
She regretted it the moment they entered.
So this was what Feilin meant.
How was this store decorated like this? From outside it looked like it just sold normal clothes.
Feilin saw Violette frozen at the entrance, her face inexplicably turning red.
“Violette, should we change stores?”
“No.”
She gripped Feilin’s sleeve tightly, afraid he’d run away if they left.
Surrounded by bold styles, Violette bit her lip, not knowing what to do.
She had originally planned to casually try on a few clothes to spend more time with Feilin.
Feilin walked around the store alone and found the lingerie styles too simple.
Weren’t there any with locks? The kind that took twenty minutes to put on? Then he could go find Daisy first.
“Oh, they even sell swimsuits here. They have quite a selection.”
Violette followed Feilin’s gaze. Great, a one-piece swimsuit!
If it only showed legs, it should be fine.
“I’ll try this one.”
Violette entered the fitting room. When Feilin wanted to gentlemanly leave, Violette called out.
“Feilin, are you leaving?”
“I’m not leaving.”
Violette was afraid Feilin would leave while she changed clothes.
“Then stay outside.”
Feilin stood outside the fitting room, separated from Violette by only a curtain.
Undeniably tempting.
Feilin tried to look away from the curtain.
But he could clearly hear the sound of clothes being removed inside.
Listening to fabric rubbing against a beautiful girl’s body always sparked infinite imagination.
“Feilin, I’m changed.”
“Oh. How does it look?”
The person inside was silent for a moment, then spoke: “There’s no mirror inside. I can’t see. Help me look.”
No mirror? This store was strange indeed.
Feilin placed his hand on the curtain.
Stay calm, Feilin. It’s just a swimsuit that shows nothing.
He pulled the curtain open.
Violette wore a light blue one-piece swimsuit like a summer wave.
The swimsuit’s cut was elegant and modest, with a dignified neckline and back, yet perfectly showcasing the girl’s curves.
A white thin belt adorned the waist, the skirt hem falling lightly at her thighs, swaying gently with her movements like beautiful waves.
Her pink hair cascaded over her bare shoulders, making her skin appear even more pale.
Her cheeks were slightly flushed, those amber eyes not daring to meet Feilin’s gaze directly, eyelashes trembling slightly.
She unconsciously tugged at the swimsuit’s edge, making a snapping sound.
This was it!
Feilin had always felt that a shy girl tugging at her swimsuit with a snap was the most seductive thing ever.
“Mm, come in quickly.”
Feilin hadn’t noticed he was still holding the curtain open.
The small space was filled with the girl’s scent. Feilin seemed to see seawater droplets sliding down Violette’s pale shoulders all the way to her ankles.
